Land development opportunity in the desirable Fairview District, now designated as a Housing Element site by the state and county, opening the door to the potential development of up to 16 residential units (buyer to verify). Nestled off a private road, this approximately 1.38-acre parcel offers a rare chance to build in a well established, high demand East Bay submarket. The site enjoys a strategic location near AC Transit routes and major commuter corridors including I-880 and I-580, providing excellent connectivity to Oakland, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and the broader Bay Area. It is adjacent to a newer residential development, underscoring the area’s proven appeal to today’s homebuyers and offering a compelling precedent for design, pricing, and absorption. This is an ideal canvas for builders and developers seeking to create a boutique community of single-family homes, townhomes, or small lot detached product (subject to approvals). New construction in Fairview and the surrounding Hayward hills has commanded strong sale prices, with buyers drawn to modern finishes, functional floor plans, and convenient access to employment centers and transit. With thoughtful site planning and architecture, a future project here can leverage those trends and position itself at the top of the market. Utilities and services are in the immediate vicinity, and the private road setting offers the opportunity to create a sense of exclusivity while still remaining close to everyday amenities, schools, shopping, and public transportation. Developers will appreciate the combination of infill location, entitlement momentum via housing element designation, and the ability to design a product that meets the ongoing demand for new homes in the East Bay. Bring your vision, your architect, and your planner! This Fairview land offering is poised to become the next successful community in a growing corridor.
